There were moments amid a fight boxing great Sugar Ray Leonard would raise his arms in victory while continuing to throw punches. From Leonard’s view, he saw victory amid the battle. His actions reminded me of the lyrics of a song; “Don’t wait til the battle is over shout now, because in the end you’re gonna win!” regardless of what you’re going through, what you’ve lost, or what tomorrow may bring if you are in Christ and representatives of God’s kingdom, you win: the price has already been paid, and the victory is won. Proverbs 21:31 (NIV) states: “ The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rest with the lord.” 1 Samuel 17:47 (NIV): “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” Be encouraged to raise your arms and shout victory today!

Sorry, not today
Struggling to feel significant, purposeful today. The imposter syndrome wants to succeed at all costs. Resistance desires to sift me as Wheat, and keep me from having the impact I’m capable of. It wants to render me to the way things are, “this is it, there’s nothing else!” Well sorry buddy, not today.
Stop 👀 for the gate keeper
Stop looking for the gate keeper, they no longer exist. The gate is wide open for those willing to walk thru it. Are you willing?
Words to live by
Love God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. Be who God made you to be, no more, no less.
Life
Life. It doesn’t always go as planned. There’s no guarantee of the outcome. All we can do is make the decision.
Today I Write
Today I write. Today I write with a clear mind to write whatever comes to mind. Today I write focusing not on things I can’t control. Today I write ridding myself of the noise and distractions that steals my focus. Today I write not seeking validation or praise. Today I write.
Let us today!
This is the day, let us write, let us paint, let copy and create! Let us sing, let us dance, let us cheer and make romance!
Today’s the day for creative work
Today’s the day, for creative work, jump into it don’t let it lurk. Grab that pen, grab that pad, grab that cushion for your ass. grab that brush, mix that paint, splash that canvas then create!! Grab that mic and sing out loud, print that shirt and wear it proud! Today’s the day for creative work.
Clear your head
Clear your head of that confusion, that resistance, that uneasiness. Release that pressure vale of thoughts, release that good work, release that lousy work. Show up to practice with your good, bad, and ugly. Because it all matters.
Do it now
Don’t overthink it just do it. Don’t compare just get something done, right now, or “write now today.”Stop waiting, watching, hoping. Get it on paper this minute, this moment, this hour. Now is the time, tomorrow is just that, tomorrow, and you may not be here. Do it now.
