It takes time. It take time for some to get it, it takes time for some to see it, it takes time for some to grow into it, it takes time for some to live it, it takes time for some to like it, it takes time for some to love it, it takes time for some to learn it, it takes time for some to appreciate it, it takes time for some to hate it, it takes time for some to earn it. It takes time.

If public education was a shoe company their motto would be, “We sell size 10 shoes only!”

Do what you can with what you got. Use the tools given you right now at this moment. Don’t wait to get moving, right now is the time. Do it, make it, ship it.

Is the outcome keeping you from during creative work? Is the outcome keeping you from improving the lives of others? Is the outcome causing you to cross the street when you see someone in need? What is the outcome your seeking today? More applause, more pats on the back, more money, more likes, more knowledge? Maybe today is the day you should show up, face the resistance, face your doubts, face your fears, and do work that matters regardless of the outcome.

This morning I made an ham, egg, and cheese breakfast pizza on tortilla shell. I started to look for recipes, but then the thought came, why? There’s only three ingredients! You won’t know unless you try! Then I realized that the outcome is not as important as the trying.

In my opinion airplane’s are still the most marvelous piece of technology ever invented. Modern day technology has taken these mechanical birds to a whole new level. While there are many types of planes from small to commercial jetliners, they all require the same technology to fly. They have to overcome wind, resistance, drag, etc. in order to lift. Planes were designed to fly and not be grounded. We as Humans have to overcome the resistance that seeks to keep us grounded as well. Fear, doubt, worry, and so many others things beyond our control keeps can us from reaching our true potential. Will you be an overcomer today?

Who’s my neighbor? Everyone you come in contact with. How will they be treated today?

A lot of people show up for the paycheck and not for the impact.

“Welcome back!” what’s going on? Made any good art today? Over come the resistance today? Did something ship from your port today? Or was it the same old day, just waking up and hoping for the best.

What will your work of art look like? Will it be just luck, showing up at the right time, in the right place, with the right opportunity? Or will it consists of hard work, placed in the world everyday with no guarantee of the outcome?
